In observance of World Autism Awareness Day 2025, Centre for Community Initiative (CCI) organized a training session on “Nurturing Potential: An Extensive Guide for Parents and Teachers of Neurodiverse Children” at the CCI Conference Hall, Malsawm Ability Resource Centre (MARC), Pearsonmun, Churachandpur, Manipur.
The session was facilitated by Ms. Lily C. Tangpua, Psychologist at MARC, and focused on enhancing understanding and support for neurodiverse children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disabilities (LD), and Intellectual Disabilities (ID).
As the fifth training of its kind organized by CCI, the program provided parents and teachers with deeper insights into the developmental, educational, and emotional needs of neurodiverse children, while promoting inclusive approaches and supportive learning environments.
Through awareness, education, and collaboration, the initiative aimed to strengthen acceptance, understanding, and inclusion so that every child is supported to grow, learn, and thrive.
