A new Child Development Centre (CDC) was established at Dorcas Hall Fencing, Dorcas Road through a collaborative initiative between Centre for Community Initiative (CCI) and Evangelical Baptist Convention (EBC).
The centre was dedicated in prayer by Rev. K. Kamchinkhup, General Secretary of EBC, in the presence of Rev. Nenglian Vualnam, Director of Development; Rev. N. Thawndoulian, Director of Mission; Rev. M. Zalian, Director of Ministries; and members of the CCI Managing Board led by Chairman Pu Ginsianlal.
CCI has deputed two senior staff members to support the functioning of the centre, which aims to provide holistic and individualized support services for children with developmental and learning needs. The CDC is designed to support 28 children every month through structured one-on-one interventions and inclusive developmental support.
