‘NuVung’ as lovingly called by staff and students alike literally means ‘Mother’ Vung is a prefix rightly deserved. Though not accomplished in academic education, she knows all the values that academic education does not necessarily teach.
Serving students and beneficiaries at MARC as an in-residence school mother/caretaker, she is responsible for providing a clean and hygienic environment for everyone. She helps students with their toileting needs and prepares lunch for students and staff as well. Her hospitality and welcoming nature are qualities that all of us at CCI look up to.
Her dedication to work is evident in the spic and span spaces to which teachers and students are welcomed every morning after the mess they left the day before.
She rarely takes a day off and loves weaving whenever she has the time.
