Parnei graduated with honours in education from Churachandpur Government College. She then went on to complete her Advanced Certificate Course in Inclusive Education (ACCIE) from Shishu Sarothi in Guwahati, D.Ed in Special Education (cerebral palsy), and B.Ed in Special Education (Visual Impairment)
Her journey with TMI began when she started volunteering in February 2017 and the same year in May, she was recruited as a full-time Special Educator. As part of the Inclusive Education team, she is also responsible for promoting inclusive education and capacitating teachers of partner schools.
She has a passion for working with children and loves cooking and reading in her free time.
Nurturing quality comes organically for Miss Parnei, and therefore, the majority of her day is spent enjoying quality time with her students.
