Sangi received her D. Ed Spl.Edu (Deafblindness) from Helen Keller Institute for Deaf and Deafblind, Mumbai, and ACCIE (Cross Disability) from Shishu Sarothi, Guwahati. Putting her belief that there is always room for improvement into action, she is currently pursuing B. Ed Spl.Edu (Visual Impairment) from NAB, Nashik.
Ever since joining TMI in 2014, she has close to a decade’s worth of experience and has proven her credibility. She believes that although she is the one set to help children with disabilities, they have their own way of helping her instead and making her a better person.
At MARC she is responsible for the identification of children with developmental delays in town and also functional assessment, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating IEPs and mentoring teachers at TMI. In order to equip the parents with the right tools to take care of children with disabilities, she also conducts capacity building and disability awareness workshops for parents frm time to time.
