Independence Day Celebration at The Malsawm Initiative 2025

The Malsawm Initiative celebrated the 79th Independence Day with pride and enthusiasm at the Malsawm Ability Resource Centre (MARC), Pearsonmun.

The celebration began with a spirited march-past by the students, followed by a heartfelt presentation of the National Anthem in sign language, reflecting the spirit of inclusion and the belief that patriotism can be expressed in every language.

The event highlighted the values of unity, participation, and equal opportunity as children with diverse abilities came together to celebrate the nation’s independence. Through such celebrations, TMI continues to promote an inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to learn, grow, and express themselves with confidence and dignity.
