My two-year journey at the Malsawm Ability Resource Centre in Pearsonmun, Lamka was one of the most cherished memories of my life. I will always treasure the time I spent there. Every day, I was greeted with warm hugs and compliments from my lovely students. The young ladies, such as Khawlching, Daisy, Zounu, Neupi, and the younger kids, always made my day with their kind words and admiration for my outfits.
Life at the centre was full of positive vibes and energy that synergized with mine in a wonderful way. Being with the wonderful kids and youngsters who were full of enthusiasm and curiosity to learn and know about everything that was going on in school, in the neighbourhood, and around the world was a joy. We spent our days learning, listening, singing, dancing, and, of course, enjoying the art and craft classes and movie time.
Working at the centre healed my soul, and I never felt lonely or sad. Although I am not there physically today, my heart, wishes, and prayers are always with them. I want to express my gratitude to the management, my colleagues, and my lovely students for all the wonderful and marvellous experiences, care, and support during my tenure.
