Centre for Community Initiative (CCI), in collaboration with the Koite Youth Union (KYU) and with support from AZP Foundation, successfully organized an Awareness Program on Disability on August 17, 2025, at the KYU Office, Koite.
The session focused on the theme “Big Challenges: Overcoming Modern Day Technology Abuse” and encouraged meaningful discussions on disability awareness, responsible technology use, and inclusive community support.
The program began with a welcome address by Pu T. Khaiminthang, Vice President of KYU, followed by an introduction from Ms. Linda Mate, Special Educator at CCI. The awareness session was facilitated by Ms. Hoikim, Special Educator at CCI, while Pu G. Lamkhopao Kipgen, Chief of Koite, shared words of encouragement and support during the event.
The program concluded with remarks from the CCI team, reaffirming the importance of collective efforts toward awareness, inclusion, and empowerment within the community.
