An in-house First Aid training was conducted on June 16, 2025, for the staff of The Malsawm Initiative (TMI) at the Malsawm Ability Resource Centre (MARC) in collaboration with Tunnu School of Nursing.
The session was facilitated by Nursing Tutors Ms. Sandy, Ms. Lamjoy, and Ms. Catherine, along with five nursing students. The training combined theoretical learning with practical demonstrations on essential first aid procedures, including wound care, management of minor injuries, and basic life support such as CPR.
The program aimed to strengthen the capacity of TMI staff to respond confidently and effectively during medical emergencies, contributing toward a safer and more prepared environment for children and staff.
