Unau Day was celebrated at JP Leisure Turf, Pearsonmun, Lamka under the theme “We Are in This Together,” bringing together children, siblings, families, and partner schools for a day of fun, inclusion, and togetherness.
The event featured a variety of interactive and inclusive games such as Tug of War, Water Race, Lava Race, Throw Ball, Balloon Race, Musical Chairs, and other recreational activities. Participants included students from The Malsawm Initiative, Early Intervention Unit, Home-Based Care programme, and partner schools including Little Gems Academy, VK Tawna High School, and Angels Place.
Supported by Wipro Foundation, Unau Day has been observed annually since 2011 with the aim of strengthening the bond between children with disabilities and their siblings while promoting inclusion, empathy, and shared responsibility within families and communities.
