A three-day training session on Basic Care for Children with Autism/ADHD was successfully conducted at Malsawm Ability Resource Centre (MARC), Pearsonmun, Lamka by the staff of the Centre for Community Initiative (CCI).
The training brought together parents, teachers, and caregivers of children with autism, providing them with practical knowledge and skills to better support children in their daily development and learning. Sessions covered topics including understanding autism, the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act 2016, and the importance of exercise and developmental support in child growth.
Combining theoretical discussions with hands-on activities, the training created an engaging learning environment for participants. The initiative aimed to strengthen the capacity of caregivers and promote more informed, supportive, and inclusive care for children with autism and ADHD.
