On November 10, 2025, a motorised wheelchair was officially handed over to Mr. Khumlalven, a Class X student of The Malsawm Initiative (TMI), at his residence in Gouchinkhup Veng, New Lamka. The wheelchair was presented by Ms. Priscilla Stauton and dedicated in prayer by Pastor T. Dinkhansuan of EBCC Bethlehem.
The initiative was made possible through a crowdfunding effort supported by 99 generous individuals who contributed toward improving mobility, independence, and accessibility for Khumlalven.
Centre for Community Initiative (CCI) extends heartfelt gratitude to all donors and supporters for their kindness and compassion. Special appreciation is also extended to Ms. Chinghoih Guite, Muanlian Hatlang, and Minlun Guite for their dedication and support in making the initiative successful.
The gesture reflects the power of collective community support in promoting inclusion, dignity, and hope for children with disabilities.
