Exciting progress is underway as our team begins the first phase of preparations for the Child Development Centre (CDC), Chandel. Activities such as cleaning, renovation, and beneficiary identification are already in progress as we prepare to open our doors to children with disabilities and their families.
Soon, CDC Chandel will be formally inaugurated and fully operational, providing much-needed developmental, educational, and therapeutic support to children with disabilities across Chandel district.
Supported by the State Bank of India Foundation under Samagra Shiksha, CDC Chandel is an extension of the Centre for Community Initiative (CCI), located at Japhou Bazar, Maha Union Govt. Higher Secondary School Road, Opposite FCI Godown, Chandel.
As a one-stop centre for holistic child development, CDC will provide Individualized Care, Special & Inclusive Education, Therapy Services, Parent Counselling, Community Outreach, UDID Enrolment Support, Advocacy, Sensitisation & Awareness.
