Centre for Community Initiative (CCI) successfully inaugurated a 3.5 KVA Sustainable Power Unit at the Malsawm Ability Resource Centre (MARC), Pearsonmun, on May 23, 2025.
The installation marks an important step toward ensuring reliable and eco-friendly power support for the daily educational, therapeutic, and rehabilitation activities at MARC, particularly for persons with disabilities.
The Sustainable Power Unit was officially inaugurated by Dr. James K. Touthang, District Nodal Officer for the National Program on Climate Change and Human Health, Government of Manipur. The program also featured a keynote address by Mr. Anthony Joukhulman Joute, Project Coordinator at Selco Foundation, along with remarks from Pu Zamlunmang, District Mission Manager, MSRLM.
CCI extends heartfelt gratitude to all partners, supporters, and individuals who contributed to making the initiative possible. The project reflects a continued commitment toward inclusive, sustainable, and community-centered development.
