Centre for Community Initiative (CCI), in collaboration with Young Paite Association (YPA) Dorcas Veng Unit and with support from the Wipro Foundation, conducted an awareness session on “Big Challenges: Overcoming Modern-Day Technology Abuses” at New Lamka Upper Primary School on April 21, 2025.
The session was facilitated by Ms. Lily C. Tangpua, Psychologist at CCI, who spoke on the impact of technology misuse and the importance of creating safer and healthier digital environments for children and young people.
With the participation of more than 200 attendees, the program encouraged meaningful discussions and greater awareness on responsible technology use, child wellbeing, and community support in addressing digital-age challenges.
CCI extends sincere appreciation to the YPA Dorcas Veng Unit, Village Authority, and New Lamka Upper Primary School for their support and collaboration in making the awareness program impactful and inclusive.
