A one-day training on Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), with a special focus on disability inclusion, was successfully conducted on October 15, 2024, for Anganwadi Workers and Helpers under the ICDS Sangaikot Project.
Participants from various Anganwadi Centres actively engaged in discussions and shared experiences and insights related to child development, inclusive practices, and community support. The training aimed to strengthen the knowledge and capacity of frontline workers in supporting the developmental and educational needs of young children, including children with disabilities.
The initiative is expected to enhance the quality of care and inclusive practices at Anganwadi Centres, contributing positively to children, families, and local communities.
