Centre for Community Initiative (CCI) conducted a training program on SHG Bookkeeping and Account Management from August 20–24, 2024, at G. Bualjang & Tuilakjang Villages under Springshed Based Watershed Development Project supported by NABARD.
The training focused on strengthening women’s empowerment and livelihood development for landless communities through improved financial management and record-keeping skills. Participants were guided on maintaining SHG accounts, bookkeeping practices, and effective financial management for sustainable group functioning.
The sessions were facilitated by Ms. Manuanching, Block Resource Trainer (BRT), and Ms. Sylvia Hatneijoy, DEO & AW, Lamka Block, MSRLM, who shared their expertise and practical knowledge with the participants.
The initiative aimed to build community capacity, promote self-reliance, and support sustainable development through financial literacy and strengthened community institutions.
