A specialized Sensory Motor Integration training was conducted at the Malsawm Ability Resource Centre (MARC), Pearsonmun, Lamka from August 7–10, 2024. The training was facilitated by Pu Loganathan Gurusamy, PT, C/NDT, a Consultant in Neuro Physiotherapy from Mumbai.
The workshop was designed to strengthen the capacity of MARC staff in supporting children with sensory processing difficulties by equipping them with advanced techniques and practical intervention strategies. The sessions focused on enhancing understanding of sensory and motor integration approaches to improve care, therapy, and educational support for children with developmental needs.
Pu Loganathan generously volunteered his expertise and time, contributing significantly to the professional development of the staff and the strengthening of services provided at MARC. The training marked an important step in CCI’s ongoing commitment to improving holistic support systems for children with special needs.
