Centre for Community Initiative (CCI) marked a significant milestone through the handover of a school bus supported by the State Bank of India (SBI) under its CSR Initiative 2024.
The support reflects a shared commitment toward strengthening access to education and community support for children with disabilities. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Dhruba Charan Bal, General Manager, Network II, LHO Guwahati; Mr. Amit Kumar, Deputy General Manager, Administrative Office Shillong; Ms. Lalrammawi, Chief Manager, SBI Churachandpur; along with other SBI officials and staff.
The new school bus will greatly support the transportation needs of students and enhance accessibility to educational services. CCI’s Managing Committee, Board Members, parents, and staff expressed heartfelt gratitude to SBI for their generous contribution and continued commitment toward inclusive education and community development.
